Biography:
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Grew up in Mexico City. Received BA in Economics, M. Public Affairs and PhD in Economics from the University of Texas-Austin. Taught and has travelled extensively in the Eastern Mediterranean. Has researched and published on economic development, neoliberalism and migration. Currently interested in issues of sustainability, rural development and food systems.
