Faculty Profile profile for strecker

Angela Strecker
Biography:
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Management. I currently teach a Capstone on promoting science inquiry about freshwater ecosystems, in addition to introductory environmental science and a senior limnology class. My research interests broadly involve how patterns of biodiversity are structured by local and regional processes, such as invasive species, climate change, habitat fragmentation, and other anthropogenic stressors. Ultimately, this work leads to the question of how ecosystem functions and services may be affected by human activities.
