Inside-Out

The Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program is an educational program with an innovative pedagogical approach tailored to effectively facilitate dialogue across difference. It originated as a means of bringing together campus-based college students with incarcerated students for a semester-long course held in a prison, jail or other correctional setting.

Mission

JOIN exists to support the efforts of homeless individuals and families to transition out of homelessness into permanent housing. Our efforts are directed at individuals sleeping outside or in their car in the Portland Metro area. Our service provision is not dependent on age, gender, race, ethnicity, faith, culture, language, sexual identity, specific diagnosis, or identifiable issue.

EMERJ-SafeNow

EMERJ-SafeNow. EMERJ-SafeNow develops and delivers culturally
specific trauma-informed personal safety education in collaboration with
communities, to ensure everyone, especially vulnerable, adults, children
and families, has access to resources, training and skills on topics related

Domestic Violence Safe Dialogue

Domestic Violence Safe Dialogue. DVSD’s mission is to stop the cycle of
domestic violence by facilitating safe, supervised conversations between
survivors and offenders who have never met before, which help both
parties foster transformative change inside themselves and others. After 18
years as a stand alone program, DVSD went under the umbrella of
Lutheran Community Services (lcsnw.org) on July 1, 2018. Lutheran

Pathways to Safety International

Pathways to Safety International (PSI) is a Portland based organization working with Americans in foreign countries to provide domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse advocacy, resources and tools so that they can navigate the complicated jurisdictional, legal and social international landscapes, to be able to live their lives free of abuse either in the foreign country or back in the United States.
